in a related story, i feel like i finally get what this song is trying to say.
a few months ago i alluded to the fact that “2012 is going to be a great year for Criterion fans.” what i really meant by that was: “Fuck yeah, Certified Copy!” Criterion confirmed the impending release with a teasing freeze-frame on their Facebook page this afternoon, and the official announcement should come tomorrow afternoon when they reveal their entire May slate.
