“i literally and carnally love [TINY FURNITURE writer / director / star Lena Dunham], hehe. oops, i spilled some humus. i’m not a terrorist, but i am high. Lena Dunham is an awesome artist. “Dealing” is my favorite, though I haven’t seen “Gigantic Furniture” (the sequel) yet. i love that girl. i’m also drinking a sierra nevada torpedo. my only hope is that she will eat LSD, go completely nucking futs, and make the grooviest movies henceforth. nonetheless, i love that woman’s guts. she also has a pretty heart. peace out ya’ll”

it’s currently the only comment attached to this Press Pause Play video interview of Lena Dunham.
i plan on writing quite a bit about Dunham / Tiny Furniture this week (both a review of Criterion’s new DVD & Blu-ray of the film, as well as an essay intended to examine what this release means to the current landscape of independent filmmaking), but… after AndreSpereyda opened his heart, i’m sort of at a loss. it’s like when you have your hand raised to ask a question and the person currently speaking asks the same hing verbatim. and then they call on you anyway and you’re all like… “um…what he said.”
