Criterion’s TOKYO DRIFTER Re-issue = Gorgeous
and that goes for the transfer, as well. or especially. can’t remember the last time that Criterion so viciously invalidated one of their earlier editions, but i’m happy to say that this re-release (out on tuesday, 12/13) underscores how much of a relic their decade-old Tokyo Drifter DVD has become.
